Responsibilities of Central Refund Team Executive -
Accurately handle refund calculation requests ensuring adherence to airline and fare policies
Perform comprehensive fare rule checks using Amadeus, Galileo, GDS systems to validate refund eligibility
Calculate net refund amounts for unused and partially utilized tickets by applying fare basis rules
Provide refund estimates to travel consultants for review and proceed with refund actions upon confirmation
Organize and process refunds, categorizing eligible amounts under unclaimed refund revenue
Utilize multiple GDS platforms to retrieve booking details, verify fare rules and process refunds
Work closely with travel consultants regarding refund rules, calculations and ticket availability
Ensure compliance with operational guidelines and service level agreements.
