Jyoti Prakash Scholarship and Mentorship Program

 

Jyoti Prakash Scholarship and Mentorship Program is an initiative of Buddy4Study India Foundation to support students with disabilities, transgender students, first-generation learners, orphans, single-parent children, and sportspersons to help them cover their educational/sports expenses and enable them to fulfill their dreams. Under this program, students who are currently studying in Class 9 to 12, graduation, or postgraduation courses; and sportspersons are eligible to apply for a scholarship of up to INR 24,000 to cover their academic/sports expenses. Moreover, the students will be informed about other relevant scholarship programs available on Buddy4Study platform. The students will also receive expert mentorship sessions from B4S employees.

Jyoti Prakash Scholarship and Mentorship Program for First-Generation Learners

Eligibility

1. 1.Students whose parents are non-graduates and are daily wage earners, drivers, farmers, gardeners, plumbers, electricians, security guards, etc.
2. 2.Applicants must be studying in Class 9-12, graduation, or postgraduation courses. 
3. 3.Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in their previous qualifying examination. 
4. 4.The annual family income of the applicant must be less than INR 3 lakh. 
5. 5.Open only for Indian citizens. Children/wards of Buddy4Study employees are not eligible for this scholarship.

Benefits:

1. 1.For Class 9 to 12 students: INR 15,000
2. 2.For Graduation students: INR 18,000
3. 3.For Postgraduation students: INR 24,000

Additional benefits:

• The students will also be informed about other relevant scholarship programs available for transgender students.
• The students will also receive expert mentorship sessions from B4S employees.

3. 3.Family income proof (ITR Form-16/income certificate from competent government authority/salary slips of parent(s))

5. 5.Proof of current academic year admission (admission letter or bonafide letter issued by school/college)School/college/university fee receipt of current academic year
6. 6.Self-declaration by the parents confirming that their child is the first in the family to pursue higher education and neither of the parents are graduates.

   3. 3.You will now be redirected to the ‘Jyoti Prakash Scholarship and Mentorship Program 2023-24’ application form page.
   4. 4 Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.Fill in the required details in the online scholarship application form.
   5. 5.Upload the required documents.
   6. 6.Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’.If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.
