JKBOPEE M.Sc. Nursing Courses 2023: Provisional Selection List Released

 

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has taken a significant step towards the admission of M.Sc. Nursing Courses for the year 2023 in Government and Private Colleges/Institutions within the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.


In accordance with Notification No.069-BOPEE of 2023 dated 15.08.2023, the board conducted the First Round of counseling (physical) on 31.08.2023. This round aimed to allocate seats provisionally based on Merit cum Preferences.

The list of candidates who have been provisionally allotted seats has been published as per Annexure “A” to the notification on the Board's official website: [www.jkbopee.gov.in](https://www.jkbopee.gov.in). 
Candidates who have been allotted seats must report for admission to their respective colleges between 04.09.2023 to 11.09.2023. Please ensure you bring the following documents in their original form:

1. Marks Card of B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc./B.Sc. Hons. Nursing course with 55% marks.

2. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K. For candidates from UT of Ladakh, the ST certificate issued by the competent authority of Ladakh shall serve as the domicile certificate.

3. One year of work experience after B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.

4. Certificate as a registered Nurse or Registered Midwifery or equivalent with any State/UT Nursing Council.

5. Category certificate, where applicable.

6. Any other certificate as required by the College Authorities.

Candidates provisionally selected for admission must report to the allotted College/Institution by or before 11.09.2023, 4:00 PM. Failure to do so will render them ineligible for further rounds of counseling, if conducted.

Colleges must submit any shortfall on 11.09.2023, by 5:00 PM, to allow the Board to take necessary action.

Please note that admissions are provisional and can be canceled if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or fabricated.
Heads of Institutions/Colleges are urged to keep admission counters open on holidays/off days. However, candidates are advised not to wait until the last day to complete admission formalities.

In line with guidelines, Institutions must ensure the accuracy of documents, particularly Category Certificates. For Persons with Disabilities, adherence to Indian Nursing Council (INC) Guidelines is essential. Any candidate not meeting the eligibility benchmarks may face cancellation of admission.

Heads of Institutions must keep records of admission and send any shortfall of candidates who haven't completed their admission via email to coejakbopee@gmail.com & helpdeskjakbopee@gmail.com on 11.09.2023, 5:00 PM, along with a hard copy duly signed.
